CaseLawInfo

The complete record, structured.

CaseLawInfo publishes structured records of complex legal cases. Each record separates what was alleged from what was found, traces the procedural history, and carries every material statement back to a court filing, docket, opinion, or agency record.

Coverage rarely follows a case past the headline. Reversals, vacaturs, resentencings, and later developments are recorded here alongside the original findings, with the date each record was last verified.

Current corpus

The corpus is being built. Records are drafted from primary sources, reviewed by a human, and published only when every stated finding rests on the record.

How to read a record

Every statement in a record is labelled. The label is text, not styling, so it reads the same way aloud as it does on the page.

Found — juryAn established finding sits flush with the page. It is the baseline, and it requires a primary source.

Alleged — prosecutionA claim is set off by a rule and names the party advancing it. An accusation stays an allegation until the record says otherwise, however widely it has been reported.

DisputedWhere sources conflict and the record does not resolve it, both sides are cited and neither is chosen.
